    John Ferron

    Executive Chairman & CEO
    John Ferron is the Executive Chairman and CEO of HEAT Software. John brings an extensive and diverse leadership background in high growth, technology-driven companies. Prior to joining HEAT Software, John served as CEO at NetMotion Wireless located in Seattle, where he accelerated growth while servicing new customers across various vertical markets. Prior to NetMotion he served as CEO of Purple Communications, transforming the company to be a leading provider of innovative communications for people who are Deaf and hard of hearing. Ferron remains Chairman of the Board of Directors of Purple. NetMotion and Purple are owned by Clearlake Capital and Ferron has been affiliated with the private equity firm since its inception in 2007. Previously, John was CFO and COO of Celerity, Inc. and Kinetics Group, Inc. In addition, John served as Vice President of finance for Compaq Computer’s Commercial PC Group as well as General Manager of an R&D optical display division, and Vice President of strategic planning and business development for Science Applications International Corporation. An expert in business transformations and operational improvement with a primary emphasis in late stage private equity held companies, John earned a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and a master’s degree from San Diego State University.

    Chief Financial Officer
    Cary Baker is responsible for managing and overseeing financial strategy, business processes and administrative functions. Prior to joining HEAT Software, Cary held CFO roles at Lumension Security and NetMotion Wireless as well as key financial leadership roles at Clearwire Corporation, Boost Mobile and Sprint Corporation. At Clearwire, he optimized the company’s financial and annual operating cost structures and played an instrumental role in Clearwire’s sale to Sprint Corporation. Cary devised and executed financial and business strategies for Boost Mobile, helping the company gain profitability, double sales production and increase annual revenue by $500 million. This financial leadership transitioned Boost Mobile into a premier player in the prepaid wireless space. Cary holds an MBA from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Idaho.

    Dan Jackson

    EVP of Sales, Marketing & Support
    Dan Jackson is responsible for North America sales as well as the global marketing, services and support teams. Prior to HEAT Software, Dan was with NetMotion Wireless in Seattle, where he was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where his sales and leadership experience, backed by his proven track record, helped the company achieve record growth. Dan has over 25 years of senior leadership experience across roles in software, private and public markets and has been involved with well over 100 M&A transactions along with the subsequent integrations. Prior to NetMotion, Dan was President and COO of DeepNines, a network and cybersecurity company headquartered in Dallas. Before joining DeepNines, Dan was Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning for The Kinetics Group in Santa Clara (a spin out from Vivendi), Global Senior Vice President for Vivendi Environmental, Senior Vice President of Sales at USFilter (which was acquired by Vivendi), President of Glegg Outsourced Solutions and Vice President of Glegg Water Conditioning (which was acquired by GE Water).

    SVP & GM, International
    Roberto Casetta is responsible for HEAT Software’s sales operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. He has over 20 years of industry experience in building software businesses, both large and SMB, through channel sales and direct sales organizations. Prior to joining HEAT Software, Roberto held a number of senior sales and management positions with Panda Security, MRO Software, BMC Software and Remedy. He will play a central role in the continued expansion of HEAT Software’s EMEA operations. Roberto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology from the University of Turin, Italy.
  • Mercedes Ellison

    SVP, Alliances and Channels
    Mercedes Ellison is responsible for global oversight of HEAT Software’s alliance and channel activities including partner programs, OEM, reseller and Managed Service Provider relationships, as well as strategic and technical alliances. Mercedes brings over 28 years of enterprise software sales, marketing, alliance and channel experience to HEAT Software, most recently Mercedes held the title of Senior Vice President, Global Cloud Ecosystem & Channels at SuccessFactors, an SAP company. Prior to that, she held senior management roles with industry leaders such as Oracle, Siebel Systems, BEA Systems, and Hyperion. Mercedes is a highly decorated industry leader having been recognized as “Top Channel Executive” and one of the “Top 50 Women in the Channel” by VAR Business, as well receiving the coveted “Stevie Award” and rigorously-judged YWCA “Tribute to Women Award”—both based solely on exemplary individual achievements in business.

    Prajval Parthasarathy

    Chief Product Officer
    Prajval Parthasarathy is responsible for all HEAT Software product engineering efforts. Prior to HEAT Software Prajval spent over 15 years with CA Technology, starting with Professional Services and several roles as VP of Engineering where he managed large and distributed global teams with a focus on SaaS initiatives. Prior to CA Technologies, Prajval held leadership roles with CMSI and Perot Systems Corporation. Prajval holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University in India. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Texas and an MBA from Emory University.

    Tony La Rosa

    Chief Information Officer
    Tony La Rosa is responsible for the global HEAT Software IT, facilities and real estate management, and brings over 25 years of management experience in technology-driven companies. Prior to joining Heat Software, Tony held a dual CTO/CIO role at Purple Communications where he introduced a variety of new products and services and was instrumental in launching a secondary line of business, ClearCaptions. Tony has also served as CIO at Celerity, a $350 million engineering and precision instruments manufacturing firm specializing in the semiconductor capital equipment market. Among his duties at Celerity, Tony led complex technology and product integration activities in connection with a series of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Celerity, Tony also served as CIO for Kinetics Group, Inc., a privately held Silicon Valley company with global operations exceeding $1 billion. Tony earned a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University.
  • Kevin J. Smith

    SVP, Strategic Initiatives
    Kevin Smith is responsible for the Service Management Business Unit, including all strategy, go to market and customer success activities for the growing portfolio of HEAT Software Service Management applications. Kevin has a deep understanding of the Service Management market, having previously been responsible for product management, product marketing and corporate marketing for all HEAT Software product lines. Kevin brings over 25 years of technical, management, and executive leadership experience in technology and software businesses. Prior to HEAT Software, Kevin has held positions as Vice President of Solutions Management at Manugistics Inc., Vice President of Operations at Avyx Inc., as well as Flight Design Manager with NASA at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston.

    VP of Human Resources
    Tanya Monette is responsible for global HEAT Software Human Resources. Prior to HEAT Software Tanya spent over 8 years with Purple Communications, an 1,100 employee company specializing in technology and interpreting services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Prior to Purple Communications, where she was most recently VP of Human Resources, Tanya held leadership roles with Target and Mervyns. Tanya will play a crucial role in the continued global expansion of the HEAT Software team, where our employees are our most significant investment. Tanya holds a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento.
