Pleasanton | Wednesday, February 01, 2012 — FrontRange Solutions, the leading provider of IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and Customer Service Management solutions, today announced the appointment of Jon Temple as President and CEO. Mr. Temple succeeds Mike Kohlsdorf, who remains as a member of the FrontRange Board of Directors but returns to his Operating Partner role with private equity firm Francisco Partners.

Mr. Temple brings more than 25 years’ experience in the software industry and has an impressive track record of leading and accelerating the growth of both established and emerging software companies. Prior to FrontRange, Jon served as President and CEO of nlyte Software, the leading independent provider of data center infrastructure management solutions. Jon has also held executive leadership positions with SaaS contact center company LiveOps, and enterprise performance management provider Hyperion, where he helped orchestrate the $3.3B acquisition by Oracle. Before joining Hyperion, Jon was CEO of privately held firm Above All Software and also spent 12 years at Business Objects, where he helped to define and lead the business intelligence category before being acquired by SAP for $6.8 billion.
