Automatically Remove Software and Data When Disposing of Hardware

TechRepublic recently released a Computer Equipment Disposal Policy discussing how to “dispose, discard, and decommission computer and IT equipment, properly.”

Along with the hardware challenge, it’s also becoming more and more an issue of what to do with existing software and data when hardware leasing contracts are expiring, PCs need to be replaced or new ones acquired. So what do you use?
